HOW CAN I JOIN ?

1. Only high school graduates, associate, undergraduate and graduate students and graduates of legal age can participate in this contest organized by MANUS Inc. For graduated contestants, there must be a maximum of 2 (two) years between the date of the contest and the date of graduation.

2. Contest participants must submit their own active e-mail and Linkedin account to MANUS Inc.

3. The first and last names of the competitors will be listed on the competition website ranking. By accepting these competition rules, competitors consent to their name, surname, school, competition score and time appearing on the competition website.

4. Persons who are determined by MANUS Inc. to have participated in the competition by creating more than one user name or who are thought to have participated in the competition with a fake account will be banned from the competition by MANUS Inc.

5. Student or graduation certificate will be requested from the contestants who win the competition. (The documents sent will be destroyed without processing within the scope of the relevant law after the determination is made.)

6. If MANUS Inc. determines that the CAM programs prepared by different people are very similar to each other, the contestants with similar CAM programs will be banned from the competition by MANUS Inc.

7. Information about the competition, technical rules, gift vouchers and the “competition code” to be used when submitting their projects will be sent to the e-mail address provided in the application form. The contest code is personalized. Therefore, the correct e-mail address must be provided. People who are found to have given this code to others will be banned from the competition. Contestants can contact “competition@manusnc.com” in case they do not receive the contest e-mail. MANUS Inc. is not responsible if the contestant gives the wrong e-mail address.

8. The competition applications will start on May 5, 2025, and the final submission deadline for the prepared projects is 48 hours after the release of the 'Competition Part' which will be published on May 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM. (MANUS Inc. reserves the right to change these dates in case of force majeure and compulsory circumstances).

9. According to the results of the contest announced by MANUS Inc.: The Winner: $195 Amazon gift card, Second: $130 Amazon gift card, Third: $65 Amazon gift card. If the scores are equal in the results, the competitor with the earlier project delivery date and time will have the advantage over the other competitor (Gift card will be sent to the competitor's e-mail address).

10. Competitors must submit their projects within 48 (forty-eight) hours after the announcement of the competition piece. Each competitor can submit 1 (one) project within this period.

11. Competitors simulate CAM programs with MANUSsim CNC simulation program. They send this simulation output to MANUS Inc. The results are announced on MANUS Inc. competition website. In case of high demand, the evaluation period may be extended and the results will be announced on the date to be determined by MANUS Inc.

12. In determining the winners of the competition, only the rules specified in the technical rules section will be taken as basis. (In manufacturing time scoring, which is one of the scoring categories; manufacturing time data calculated in ManusSIM will be used. The time shown in the CAM software or the actual machining time on the CNC will not be taken into account). The competitor has no right to object to the scoring.

13. If the simulation outputs submitted by the competitors do not meet the technical rules significantly as a result of the examination of the simulation outputs, the result of the project application will be evaluated as 0 (zero) points. In this case, MANUS Inc. is not obliged to inform the competitor as to why the competitor was awarded 0 (zero) points.

14. If the competitor does not have its own CNC post processor, the 'competition post' offered by MANUS Inc. can be used for this machine, but this post processor is not obliged to support every CAM software and every CAM software version. For this reason, MANUS Inc. is not responsible for the failure of the post processor offered by MANUS Inc. to produce appropriate output in the competitor's CAM software. Competitors must make sure that the post-processor provided by MANUS Inc. works by testing it in MANUSpost developer by post-processing it in the CAM program and simulating it in MANUSsim. If this test phase is skipped, competitors may not be able to submit their projects on time.

15. If the competitor wants to participate in the competition with their own CNC post processor instead of the one prepared in MANUSpost developer, it is the responsibility of the competitor to ensure that the post processor is error-free. If the post processor is faulty and the NC program created for this reason is faulty, the contestant's application will not be accepted. MANUS Inc. is not obliged to inform the competitor that the application of the competitor is not accepted.

16. The training video on the website 'competition.manusnc.com' is an example. MANUS Inc. cannot be held responsible for errors and omissions in the video.

17. Contestants who are banned from the competition due to violations of the competition rules have no right of appeal.

18. Contestants cannot claim any rights and receivables related to the gifts determined in cases such as the organization of the competition, the operation of the application, delays, etc.

19. The CAM Programming Championship is exclusively open to university students . To ensure eligibility, all participants must register using their official university email address, ending with “.edu” (e.g., name@university.edu).
